海角社区 Beta Alpha Psi chapter earns superior status

Beta Alpha Psi鈥攁n international honorary organization for financial information students鈥攈as recognized the University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 Eta Sigma chapter as a Superior Chapter, a significant accomplishment.

According to a recent letter of recognition, the Eta Sigma Chapter far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership鈥攅arning the chapter a superior distinction.

鈥淯nder the leadership of Mrs. Patti Roshto, instructor of accounting and faculty advisor, our Eta Sigma chapter has a long history of success.  I congratulate her and our members for this international recognition,鈥 said Dr. Ron Berry, dean of the College of Business Administration.

鈥淲e are very fortunate to have dedicated faculty like Mrs. Roshto who work closely with our students and organizations to make them the best that they can be.鈥

With 296 chapters nationwide, Beta Alpha Psi seeks to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.

This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.
