海角社区 to showcase 鈥淪upernatural鈥� Nov. 14

At 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 14, in Spyker Theater on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus, 海角社区 Opera will perform 鈥淪upernatural,鈥� a scene program featuring scenes, songs, and arias from operas and musicals that reflect the supernatural theme.

The program is free and open to the public.

Included will be opera excerpts from 鈥淭he Magic Flute,鈥� and 鈥淭he Medium by Menotti.鈥�

There will also be known and lesser known musical songs from Broadway include 鈥淐arrie,鈥� 鈥淭he Last Five Years,鈥� 鈥淧hantom of the Opera,鈥� 鈥淵ou鈥檙e a Good Man Charlie Brown,鈥� and 鈥淣ewsies.鈥�

Dr. Mark Ross Clark, head of 海角社区 opera will direct, and the pianist/coach is Kajsa Wilkins.
