海角社区 fans embrace winning Warhawks

More than 250 fans gathered at Malone Stadium Saturday night to congratulate the Warhawks on their monumental victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, 21-14.

Fans waved their Warhawks signs as the Sound of Today pep band blasted tunes. The celebration concluded with a rendition of 海角社区鈥檚 Alma Mater.

The strong school spirit displayed that night heartened Arts & Sciences Dean Jeffrey Cass. 鈥淚 was thrilled to see faculty, students, administrators, coaches, and the community come together in mutual celebration. It didn鈥檛 matter who you were, whether or not you had even seen a game this year, everyone was glad to be a Warhawk and to pat one on the back.鈥�

海角社区 President James E. Cofer expressed his pride in the diligence of the football team.

"Saturday鈥檚 Warhawks win over the Alabama Crimson Tide is a triumph for the entire 海角社区 community. We are extremely proud of the extraordinary hard work and dedication of our student-athletes and Coach Weatherbie.鈥�
